Emeset 2 Injection 2 ml is an antiemetic that prevents and treats nausea and vomiting during chemotherapy. Nausea is a sense of unease in the stomach that usually precedes vomiting. In contrast, vomiting is the forced, voluntary, or involuntary expulsion of stomach contents through the mouth. Emeset 2 Injection 2 ml includes Ondansetron, which inhibits the activity of serotonin, a neurotransmitter that triggers the vomiting center (chemoreceptor trigger zone - CTZ) in the brain. This prevents nausea and vomiting. A healthcare practitioner will deliver 2 mL of Emeset 2 Injection. Do not self-administer.
