Otocin D Eye/Ear Drops contains two antibiotics (Chloramphenicol and Polymyxin B) and a steroid (Dexamethasone). Antibiotics function by killing germs or preventing their development. They work together to properly cure your eye/ear infection. The steroid inhibits the generation of chemical messengers (prostaglandins), which cause the eyes and ears to become red, puffy, and itching.
